Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul landfall stompy build commanded by Phylath, World Sculptor. The primary plan accelerates basic land deployment in early turns, casts Phylath on Turn 5 to produce a wide board of Plant tokens, and weaponizes subsequent land drops to place four +1/+1 counters per trigger on those Plants. On Turn 6, the deck converts these massive stats into decisive combat pressure using trample enablers, overrun effects, or extra combats from Moraug, Fury of Akoum. Heavy basic land counts maximize Phylath's token output and ensure reliable mana velocity. While the deck boasts immense explosive power and robust recovery through redundant high-end threats like Avenger of Zendikar, its main vulnerabilities stem from reliance on creature combat and susceptibility to unconditional board sweepers.
