Commander: Thranduil the Strategist

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Simic elfball and combo-toolbox deck built around Thranduil the Strategist. Thranduil turns every Elf and Elf token into a mana dork while creating an Elf token on each landfall, fueling explosive mana and a wide board. The primary finish is an oversized Craterhoof Behemoth or Finale of Devastation attack, backed by a deep tutor package. The secondary plan assembles infinite mana through Ashaya/Quirion Ranger, Marwyn/Priest of Titania with Staff of Domination, or Hullbreaker Horror with mana rocks, then uses Staff or a haste finisher to close. The 99 also contains a redundant adventure version of Thranduil, Sindarin Liege // Silvan Rally, and Thrasios as a mana sink.
