Deck 13 by xchains81

Format: Commander

Commander: Jodah, Archmage Eternal

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Jodah, Archmage Eternal is the cost-reduction engine of this five-color Myojin deck. The primary plan is to play Jodah, then use his WUBRG ability to cast expensive Myojin and Ultimatum spells for five mana. Proliferate effects such as Bloom Hulk, Huatli's Raptor, Tezzeret's Gambit, and Planewide Celebration add extra counters to the Myojin, letting you activate their abilities multiple times. The deck wins by attacking with a board of Myojin, dealing 21 damage to each opponent with Myojin of Roaring Blades, or reanimating a wiped board with Myojin of Grim Betrayal. The hidden commander is Myojin of Cryptic Dreams, which copies permanent spells to multiply a single proliferate creature into a board.
