Deck overview

This deck is a mono-black Zombie-tribal sacrifice engine commanded by Ghoulcaller Gisa. The primary game plan revolves around deploying resilient Zombie creatures, using sacrifice outlets to generate immense value, and then converting that value into either an overwhelming token army via Gisa's activated ability or a combo finish. The deck grinds through death-triggered card draw (Undead Augur, Midnight Reaper, Dark Prophecy) and recursion (Animate Dead, Reanimate, Victimize) to out-value opponents. Its core infinite combo-Mikaeus, the Unhallowed plus an undying creature and a sacrifice outlet (Phyrexian Altar or Warren Soultrader)-produces infinite death triggers and infinite mana, which can be channeled into Gisa's token creation or a Gray Merchant of Asphodel drain. When the combo isn't assembled, the deck wins through combat, empowered by lords like Death Baron and Lord of the Undead and massive token swarms.
