Deck overview

This is a general-power Orzhov deck built around turning life loss into cards and using those cards to fuel large drain spells. Mister Negative is the centerpiece: after Tree of Perdition lowers an opponent's life total, the commander can exchange totals and draw a large number of cards. Necrodominance, Vilis, Broker of Blood, Infernal Contract, and Stinging Study provide additional high-volume draw, while Exsanguinate, Debt to the Deathless, Sanguine Bond, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Enduring Tenacity convert life gain into pressure. The deck has respectable removal and several ways to survive a dangerous turn, but its main setup is expensive and its tutors are sparse. It can produce very strong value in a favorable game, yet it lacks a reliable compact finish, a repeatable lock, and enough protection to operate like a competitive combo deck.
