Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Rakdos spellslinger deck wins by stacking small ping triggers and then doubling them. Kuja, Genome Sorcerer generates a 0/1 Wizard each end step that pings each opponent on every noncreature spell, and flips into Trance Kuja after four Wizards to double all Wizard damage. The board fills with redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Black Waltz No. 3, plus token makers such as Black Mage's Rod and Mysidian Elder. Harmonic Prodigy and Tor Wauki the Younger act as hidden engines that double triggers or add damage. With no infinite combo, the deck grinds through 1-2 damage pings, then closes with a storm turn of 6-8 cheap cantrips and rituals amplified by the doubled damage.
