A Raccoon's Age by MattyPBee

Format: Commander

Commander: Muerra, Trash Tactician

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Muerra, Trash Tactician leads a synergistic Gruul kindred deck that turns low-cost Raccoons into explosive mana generation and card advantage. Muerra rewards casting multiple spells each turn through the expend mechanic, generating extra green and red mana while refueling your hand with impulse draw. The primary game plan establishes an early board of Raccoons and changelings, scales up mana production, and overwhelms the table through massive combat buffs like Overwhelming Stampede, Door of Destinies, and Banner of Kinship. Alternatively, huge mana reserves generated by Old Gnawbone or Mana Geyser allow you to finish all three opponents simultaneously with a lethal Crackle with Power.
