Deck overview

This deck is a 5-color Superfriends control deck commanded by Thanos, the Mad Titan. The strategy focuses on accelerating mana in the early turns, establishing asymmetric stax and removal engines, and deploying planeswalkers that take over the game. Thanos acts as a repeatable, one-sided board wipe when paired with blink and flicker effects like Displacer Kitten, Teleportation Circle, and Aminatou, the Fateshifter, continually clearing odd or even creature threats for a reduced cost. High-impact planeswalkers such as Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God, Teferi, Hero of Dominaria, and Tamiyo, Field Researcher generate insurmountable card advantage and board control. Counter multipliers like Doubling Season, Deepglow Skate, and Oath of Teferi allow planeswalkers to ultimate immediately upon entering the battlefield. The deck smoothly transitions from mid-game board suppression to a decisive Turn 8 victory through ultimate emblems, dragon combat damage, and direct resource denial.
