Deck overview

This Bant defender deck helmed by Arcades, the Strategist turns walls into card-advantage engines and lethal attackers. Arcades draws a card whenever a defender enters and lets them deal damage equal to toughness while attacking. The plan ramps with defender dorks such as Overgrown Battlement, Axebane Guardian, and Wall of Roots, casts Arcades, then floods the board with high-toughness walls that refill the hand and smash face. High Alert backups the enabler role. Wins come through combat, supercharged by True Conviction, Legion Loyalty, Akroma's Will, and the discounted finisher The Pride of Hull Clade. Spot removal, asymmetric wipes that spare low-power walls, and protection keep the board intact long enough to overwhelm the table.
