Y'shtola, Night's Blessed is the engine and drainer: every noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater turns into 2 damage to each opponent and 2 life, and her end-step draw is the deck's main payoff for stacking life-loss effects. The deck is a single-faced commander build, not a hidden-commander or partner deck. Primary path is an Esper spells-matter midrange plan: chain instants and sorceries, grow Hero tokens with G'raha Tia, and close with Hraesvelgr making one huge creature unblockable or with Champions from Beyond's Full Party pump. Secondary paths are a control package of counters, removal, and hand disruption, plus a graveyard engine via Emet-Selch and flashback spells.
