Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius artifact midrange engine commanded by Mendicant Core, Guidelight. It leverages early cost reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Urza, Lord Protector alongside low-cost artifacts to accelerate mana development and quickly build up board presence. The deck uses token creators such as Simulacrum Synthesizer, Sai, Master Thopterist, Illustrious Wanderglyph, and Digsite Engineer to convert every artifact cast into an expanding army of flying Thopters and massive Construct tokens. Once Mendicant Core, Guidelight reaches Max Speed, it doubles artifact casts for just one mana, triggering exponential value and token growth. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging evasion from Cyberdrive Awakener, Kappa Cannoneer, and Thopter swarms. A solid interaction suite with Dispatch, Swords to Plowshares, and one-sided sweepers like Organic Extinction keeps opponents off balance while hexproof engines protect the board.
