Deck overview

This deck is an Esper control strategy centered on Yennett, Cryptic Sovereign. It leverages early mana acceleration and topdeck manipulation to deploy Yennett on turn 4 and attack on turn 5. Yennett's trigger cheats game-ending, odd-mana value spells directly from the top of the library without paying their mana costs. The payoff suite features crushing asymmetric lock pieces like Void Winnower, board-wiping praetors like Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite and Toxrill, the Corrosive, extra turn spells such as Expropriate, and massive reanimation bombs including Breach the Multiverse and Rise of the Dark Realms. By using tools like Sensei's Divining Top, Aminatou, the Fateshifter, and Penance, the deck consistently stacks high-impact cards on top of the library. Opponents face severe resource denial and overwhelming board presence, leading to a decisive combat finish by turn 7.
