Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari sacrifice and engine deck helmed by Baba Lysaga, Night Witch. The strategy revolves around assembling permanents with multiple card types—such as artifact lands, artifact creatures, enchantment creatures, and man-lands—to fulfill Baba Lysaga's three-type activation cost using only one or two permanents. Once online, Baba Lysaga reliably draws three cards, drains each opponent for three life, and gains three life each turn cycle. The deck leverages heavy graveyard recursion through Ramunap Excavator, Conduit of Worlds, and Splendid Reclamation to continuously recycle sacrificed lands and artifacts. Secondary engines like Titania, Protector of Argoth, Marionette Master, and Agent of the Iron Throne scale this steady attrition into a game-ending clock, converting permanent sacrifices into overwhelming creature armies or lethal life loss. With a dense suite of multi-type permanents and efficient Golgari interaction, the deck maintains consistent card advantage and resilience against removal while grinding down the entire table.
