Commander: Vivi Ornitier

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Vivi Ornitier commands an Izzet spellslinger storm deck that converts noncreature spells into immediate damage and explosive bursts of mana. As you cast cantrips, rituals, and interaction, Vivi accumulates counters, burns every opponent, and taps for large quantities of blue and red mana based on its power. The primary win condition chains cheap noncreature spells with cost reducers and draw engines like Archmage Emeritus and Storm-Kiln Artist, culminating in lethal burn, a high-storm Grapeshot, Aetherflux Reservoir activations, or a massive Chandra's Ignition. Secondary paths utilize Niv-Mizzet, Parun paired with Curiosity or Ophidian Eye to draw your library and eliminate the table.
