Deck overview

The Great Goblin turns counter placement into reach and sacrifices into impulse card advantage. The primary plan is to flood the board with hasty Goblins through Krenko, Mob Boss, Muxus, and Siege-Gang Commander, then close with wide attacks and pings from General Kreat, Boggart Cursecrafter, and Lightning Crafter. A secondary land-hate package (Blood Moon, Magus of the Moon, Ruination, Price of Progress) punishes nonbasic-heavy mana bases and acts as a finisher once basics are developed. The commander is optional reach: its counter trigger supplements combat, and its death trigger lets token sacrifices dig to additional plays. No hidden commander exists; the deck is built around The Great Goblin as a payoff rather than a required engine.
