Deck overview

This deck is a Jeskai Human tribal combat deck piloted by Éowyn, Shieldmaiden. Its primary strategy revolves around assembling an expansive army of Human creature tokens and utilizing monarch card advantage alongside aggressive combat buffs to overwhelm opponents. The deck curve ramps into Éowyn on Turn 4 or 5, triggering her ability to generate two 2/2 Knight tokens per combat when subsequent Humans enter the battlefield. Once the board reaches critical mass (six or more Humans), Éowyn provides recurring card advantage, which compounds with the Monarch mechanic. The endgame converts wide boards into lethal swings using game-ending enablers such as Shared Animosity, Taunt from the Rampart, or unblockable attacks from Aragorn, King of Gondor. Because the strategy is strictly combat-focused and fair, it requires sustained turn-over-turn board presence and remains inherently vulnerable to board sweepers and heavy interactive control.
