Deck overview

This Dimir deck is built around Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver to generate steady card advantage and token swarms through Zombie tribal synergies and aristocrat sacrifice engines. It accelerates on curve using 2-mana artifacts and deploys low-cost Zombies to feed Wilhelt's end-step card draw and decayed token generation. As the game develops, the deck uses lords like Death Baron and Lord of the Accursed alongside asymmetric attrition pieces like Grave Pact and Ravenous Rotbelly to dominate the battlefield. It pressures all three opponents through wide combat attacks, evasion, and direct life drain from Diregraf Captain. While the deck recovers well from creature removal through recursion spells like Gravecrawler and Zombie Apocalypse, it relies on non-hasty board states and minimal countermagic, making it vulnerable to exile sweepers and faster combo strategies.
