Deck overview

This Golgari deck is led by Blech, Loafing Pest, focusing on typal synergy across Pests, Bats, Insects, Snakes, and Spiders. The game plan revolves around deploying cheap typal creatures and triggering repeatable life gain to distribute +1/+1 counters across the board. Accelerating into Blech by Turn 3 allows the deck to convert small tokens and utility creatures into substantial combat threats by Turns 5 and 6. Evasion enablers like Badgermole and Root Manipulation push combat damage through blockers, while aristocrats engines like Bastion of Remembrance and Defiling Daemogoth drain opposing life totals. The deck features functional graveyard recursion through Cauldron of Essence and Conduit of Worlds, but remains vulnerable to board wipes due to a lack of instant-speed protection and countermagic.
