Deck overview

This Golgari Midrange deck leverages Glissa, the Traitor and a host of deathtouch creatures paired with one-sided fight and bite spells to control the board. By converting low-cost removal like Bite Down and Infectious Bite into instant-speed creature destruction, Glissa recurs sacrificed or destroyed utility artifacts such as Wayfarer's Bauble and Mind Stone. The mana base ramps steadily into mid-game powerhouses including Phyrexian Obliterator and Glissa, Herald of Predation. Card advantage engines like Sylvan Library and Gix, Yawgmoth Praetor keep resources flowing into the mid turns. The primary victory route involves overwhelming the table through combat buffs like Overwhelming Stampede, Overrun, and Unnatural Growth, or deploying Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger to lock down opposing mana while crushing life totals over two combat rotations.
