Deck overview

This Izzet token-storm deck is helmed by Ovika, Enigma Goliath, turning every noncreature spell you cast into a swarm of hasty Goblin tokens. The primary game plan involves ramping into Ovika, then chaining spells-from cheap cantrips to explosive rituals-to generate a critical mass of tokens that burn opponents out via ETB damage (Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors) or overwhelm through combat with anthems like Shared Animosity and City on Fire. The deck also packs a robust interaction suite of counterspells and flexible removal, creating a tempo-heavy midrange strategy that can pivot between aggressive token pressure and controlled spell-slinging. While it lacks deterministic infinite combos, the sheer volume of tokens and repeatable burn effects provide a reliable path to eliminating three opponents.
