Ekthi Contaminator priest by user6773073

Format: Commander

Commander: Ekthi, Contaminator Priest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-white Equipment deck built around Ekthi, Contaminator Priest turning every Equipment into an army. Because Ekthi grants living weapon, each Equipment spell both creates a Phyrexian Germ and attaches itself, so the deck can go wide while also suiting up a single voltron threat. The core loop is to deploy cheap draw engines like Sram, Senior Edificer and Puresteel Paladin, chain Equipment into play, then consolidate the pile with Armory Automaton, Heavenly Blademaster, or Stonehewer Giant. The primary kill is commander damage from a suited-up Ekthi using Blackblade Reforged, Argentum Armor, and Leyline Axe, with a backup token/artifact plan that can lean on Divine Visitation and Strixhaven Stadium. There are no infinite combos; the deck wins through repeated combat, Equipment-triggered value, and resilient rebuilding from cards like Faith's Reward and Nim Deathmantle.
