Deck overview

This Gruul Midrange deck is commanded by Minsc & Boo, Timeless Heroes, utilizing aggressive +1/+1 counter placement, trample beatdown, and direct-damage card draw. The primary plan accelerates into Minsc & Boo by Turn 3 or 4, immediately generating a hasty Boo token and buffing it into a 4/4 attacker. On subsequent turns, the deck scales Boo into a 7/7 or pairs large threats like Terra Stomper and Deus of Calamity with Xenagos, God of Revels. When opponents attempt to block or remove threats, Minsc's -2 ability sacrifices Boo to fling massive damage at any target while refilling the hand with 4 to 7 cards. Secondary elements include spellcasting tax creatures like Ruric Thar, the Unbowed and Cindervines to punish fast spellslinger strategies. While the deck possesses immense raw card draw and resilient token generation, its single-target combat finish requires three full table rotations to close out games.
