Deck overview

This Grixis deck uses Doctor Doom, King of Latveria to convert combat steps and card filtering into continuous table-wide pressure. By casting Doctor Doom on Turn 4, every combat step triggers connive, drawing and discarding cards while granting menace to key attackers. Discarded land cards burn every opponent directly, while nonland discards grow your Villain board with +1/+1 counters. Synergies like Archfiend of Ifnir and Bone Miser turn these discard triggers into one-sided board wipes, mana generation, and token swarms. The deck supplements its aggressive midrange clock with flexible interaction, mass phasing protection, and evasive finishers such as Loki, the Deceiver and The Squadron Sinister to close games by Turn 7.
