Deck overview

This deck is a four-color (WUBR) Polymorph control deck commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The list completely omits low-cost creature cards and planeswalkers from the 99, dedicating those slots exclusively to nine game-ending behemoths: Void Winnower, Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Archon of Cruelty, It That Betrays, Archfiend of Despair, Astral Dragon, Ovika, Enigma Goliath, Darksteel Angel, and Avacyn, Angel of Horror. During the first three turns, the deck deploys noncreature token generators and mana rocks. On Turn 4, Jace enters the battlefield and uses his -3 loyalty ability to exile a token, guaranteeing a massive bomb enters directly onto the battlefield. Backed by cheap counterspells, efficient exile removal, and redundant polymorph spells, the deck rapidly establishes an overwhelming board state, locking out opposing interaction with Void Winnower or closing the game through massive combat damage and the Astral Dragon plus Cursed Mirror infinite dragon combo.
