New Untitled Deck by bi1broswaggins

Format: Commander

Commander: Plagon, Lord of the Beach

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a synergistic Azorius "toughness matters" deck helmed by Plagon, Lord of the Beach, which turns high-toughness, low-power creatures into both a card-draw engine and a combat threat. The primary game plan is to deploy creatures with toughness greater than their power (e.g., Charix, the Raging Isle, Aegis Turtle, Nyx-Fleece Ram), then use enablers like High Alert, Rasaad yn Bashir, or Baldin, Century Herdmaster to let them assign combat damage equal to their toughness. Plagon's ETB draws a card for each such creature, and a dense flicker package (Cloudshift, Ghostly Flicker, Brago, King Eternal) re-triggers that draw while also providing protection. The deck can also win through Laboratory Maniac after drawing a massive hand, or drain opponents with Psychosis Crawler. The deck is heavily reliant on its commander for card advantage and the damage-switching ability, but possesses alternative toughness enablers and a robust instant-speed interaction suite.
