Chishiro, the Shattered Blade heads a straightforward Gruul "modified matters" midrange deck that buries the table under a snowballing army of menace Spirit tokens and +1/+1 counters. The game plan is to flood the board with Auras and Equipment - Bear Umbra, Snake Umbra, Swiftfoot Boots, Fireshrieker - each one creating a 2/2 Spirit while making Chishiro "modified," so his end-step trigger spreads counters across the entire team.
