Indominus Rex In Hand by Fredrikie

Format: Commander

Commander: Indominus Rex, Alpha

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai (BUG) keyword-matters midrange deck helmed by Indominus Rex, Alpha. The commander's ETB lets you discard any number of creature cards, granting it a keyword counter for each keyword among them (flying, deathtouch, hexproof, trample, etc.), then drawing a card for each counter placed. The 99 is packed with roughly thirty keyworded creatures that both feed the commander's draw and serve as the primary beatdown plan. The main win condition is combat damage from big, evasive, keyworded threats, amplified by End-Raze Forerunners and Stonehoof Chieftain, with Living Death as a mass-reanimation reset and The Gitrog, Ravenous Ride / Bonny Pall, Clearcutter as value accelerants. It plays as a classic value-midrange deck: ramp, dump a huge hand, then overwhelm with hexproof/indestructible beaters.
