Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis artifact attrition and beatdown deck led by Dr. Eggman. The primary strategy focuses on deploying cheap mana rocks on Turns 1 to 3 to cast Dr. Eggman on Turn 4. Once assembled, the commander forces opponents into a difficult villainous choice every end step: either discard a card or permit you to put a massive Construct, Robot, or Vehicle directly onto the battlefield for free. The deck synergizes heavily with discard effects through cards like Painful Quandary, Tinybones, Bauble Burglar, and Entropic Battlecruiser, steadily emptying opponents' hands. Massive artifact beaters such as Cityscape Leveler, Myr Battlesphere, and Krang, Utrom Warlord close out the game through combat damage by Turn 8. The deck features robust removal, strong artifact recursion via Emry, Lurker of the Loch and Scrap Trawler, and steady card flow.
