Deck overview

This deck is a Boros graveyard-interaction and Spirit token midrange strategy commanded by Quintorius, History Chaser. The core game plan focuses on repeatedly moving cards out of the graveyard through reanimation, exile casting, and self-recursion to generate 3/2 Spirit creature tokens. Support pieces like Conspiracy Theorist, Containment Construct, and Squee, Goblin Nabob convert Quintorius's loyalty abilities into consistent card advantage and rapid token generation. Once a wide board of Spirits is established, the deck transitions into lethal combat pressure through power multipliers like Anointed Procession, Mondrak, Glory Dominus, Balefire Liege, and Quintorius's -4 ability, which grants double strike and vigilance to all Spirits. Alternate win conditions include direct burn from Purphoros, God of the Forge and mass reanimation finishes with Storm of Souls or Moonshaker Cavalry. Strong defensive tools like Teferi's Protection and Guardian of Faith protect the creature swarm from board wipes, allowing the deck to close out the game safely across two combat cycles.
