Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange strategy built around +1/+1 counters and card flow from the top of the library. Commanded by Falco Spara, Pactweaver, the deck leverages shield, indestructible, and +1/+1 counters as resources to cast spells directly from the library. Early turns focus on establishing mana acceleration through creatures and artifacts. During the midgame, engines like Brokers Ascendancy, Forgotten Ancient, and Fathom Mage scale your creatures while replenishing your hand. The deck transitions into a lethal threat by making its large, modified creatures unblockable using Herald of Secret Streams, granting team-wide evasion with Akroma's Will, or clearing opposing blockers via asymmetric board wipes such as Damning Verdict and Wave Goodbye. Defensive tools like Teferi's Protection, Ripples of Potential, and cheap counterspells protect the board until combat damage closes the game.
