Deck overview

This deck is a classic Simic Landfall build helmed by Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the opening turns to cast Aesi ahead of curve. Once Aesi is on the battlefield, every land drop replaces itself while granting additional land plays each turn. This card velocity quickly digs into powerful Landfall win conditions, including wide token generators like Scute Swarm and Rampaging Baloths, creature control with Roil Elemental, and high-power finishers like Overwhelming Stampede. The deck also includes a compact infinite combo: Ashaya, Soul of the Wild turns Quirion Ranger into a Forest, allowing Ranger to bounce and replay itself indefinitely. With Aesi in play, this loop draws the entire library to win on the spot with Thassa's Oracle. While the deck has light protective interaction, its land-based resource engine makes it exceptionally resilient against board wipes.
