Deck overview

This is an Esper creature deck built around Raffine, Scheming Seer attacking with several creatures, then converting card flow into +1/+1 counters. Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Avenger of the Fallen, Hallowed Haunting, and Obscura Ascendancy help widen the board, while Wonder and Hallowed Haunting can make attacks harder to block. The deck also uses graveyard value through Cemetery Tampering, Chthonian Nightmare, Lively Dirge, and Storm of Souls. Its main weakness is that connive is card selection rather than card advantage, and the deck has no compact or reliable table-kill route. Removal and counters are present, but their singleton access and colored costs compete with development. The realistic game plan is to establish a growing evasive board, protect key turns when possible, and win through repeated combat rather than a deterministic combo or lock.
