Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Mono-Black combo-control list helmed by Doctor Doom. The primary strategy focuses on deploying heavy fast mana and universal tutors to assemble an infinite artifact-aristocrat loop with Nim Deathmantle and Ashnod's Altar (or Krark-Clan Ironworks). Because Doctor Doom creates two 3/3 artifact Doombot tokens upon entering the battlefield, sacrificing the tokens and Doctor Doom produces six mana, easily paying the four mana required by Nim Deathmantle to recur him indefinitely. This loop generates infinite mana and death triggers, which instantly finish the table via drain outlets like Marionette Apprentice, Zulaport Cutthroat, Disciple of the Vault, or mill via Altar of Dementia. Alternatively, the deck can win through Doctor Doom, Unrivaled paired with Demonic Consultation. With exceptional mana velocity and graveyard recursion, the deck maintains high resilience against removal while threatening a fast, compact win.
