Lizards by Rudolphosv

Format: Commander

Commander: Gev, Scaled Scorch

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Gev, Scaled Scorch anchors a black-red Lizard burn deck that wins through repeated noncombat damage. The primary plan is to use early pings to turn on Gev's counter-placing ability and spectacle costs, then deploy pinger engines (Firebrand Archer, Guttersnipe, Blisterspit Gremlin) and cast several cheap noncreature spells per turn to drain all opponents. The commander is a drain-engine/value piece rather than an outlet; the real payoff is the density of 'each opponent' triggers. Secondary lines include a Lizard doubles-turn with Collective Inferno/Valley Flamecaller and a burst from Sunspine Lynx. There is no hidden commander; Gev is the only face the deck is built around.
