Deck overview

Lathliss, Dragon Queen commands a mono-red Dragon tribal deck designed to establish a commanding aerial board presence through explosive creature scaling and direct burn. The strategy accelerates through early mana rocks and tribal cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator to deploy Lathliss ahead of curve. Once assembled, every subsequent Dragon cast generates a 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly overwhelming opponents in the air. Damage multipliers like Fiery Emancipation and ETB burn engines such as Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployment into immediate removal and life total pressure. Asymmetric sweepers like Breath Weapon and Desolation of Smaug clear opposing ground blockers while preserving your aerial armada. While vulnerable to sweepers and targeted removal against its expensive commander, redundant standalone threats like Utvara Hellkite ensure sustained pressure to close games within two combat cycles of critical onset.
