Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Golgari combo engine centered on The Gitrog Monster. Its primary game plan is assembling The Gitrog Monster, a free discard outlet such as Putrid Imp or Wild Mongrel, and Dakmor Salvage. Discarding Dakmor Salvage triggers dredge, which replaces the Gitrog draw trigger, repeatedly milling the library while Eldrazi shuffle triggers allow infinite recycling. From this state, you generate infinite mana and draw your deck to finish opponents. As a backup win condition, the deck runs the compact two-card combo of Witherbloom Apprentice and Chain of Smog. Fast mana and dense tutor suites ensure rapid, consistent assembly.
