Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads an elf-ball combo deck that exploits his ability to copy all activated abilities of Elf cards in the graveyard. The primary plan is to assemble an infinite-mana engine, usually Bloom Tender plus Freed from the Real or a druid plus Umbral Mantle/Staff of Domination, then win through Staff draw or Finale of Devastation. The commander acts as a secondary mana dork and card-advantage engine when the right elves are milled, and a heavy legendary-elf package provides draws and alternate combat wins. The deck is fast, tutor-dense, and can function without the commander, but it is vulnerable to graveyard and activated-ability hate.
