Deck overview

This Temur stompy deck is commanded by Ureni of the Unwritten, designed to rapidly ramp into its 7-mana commander and cheat massive, game-ending Dragons into play. Operating on a dense curve of 1-2 CMC ramp pieces like Fanatic of Rhonas, Bloom Tender, and Farseek, the deck consistently deploys Ureni by Turn 4. Upon entering and attacking, Ureni digs eight cards deep to place terrifying threats like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Terror of the Peaks, Old Gnawbone, and Utvara Hellkite directly onto the battlefield. Haste enablers such as Dragon Tempest, Rhythm of the Wild, and Temur Ascendancy allow Ureni and its brood to attack immediately, triggering compounding ETB burn, token multiplication, and massive combat damage. Opponents are pressured to find instant-speed sweepers within two turn cycles before overwhelming aerial combat or an infinite combat loop with Aggravated Assault and Old Gnawbone closes the game.
