Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Spellslinger Aristocrats build commanded by Silverquill, the Disputant. The primary strategy focuses on establishing cheap, repeatable token producers like Bitterblossom and Skrelv's Hive, then casting the commander on Turn 4 to grant all instant and sorcery spells casualty 1. Sacrificing 1-power tokens allows the deck to copy card draw spells like Village Rites, removal like Swords to Plowshares, and token spells like Hop to It with exceptional mana efficiency. As the board develops, aristocrat payoffs such as Blood Artist, Cruel Celebrant, and Zulaport Cutthroat turn every sacrificed token into life drain across all opponents. Professor Onyx leverages magecraft on both casts and casualty copies to accelerate the clock, while Dictate of Erebos and Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite lock down opposing creature boards. The game concludes around Turn 8 through accumulated drain triggers or a decisive Akroma's Will alpha strike.
