Deck overview

This is a mono-black sacrifice/aristocrats value engine helmed by Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER, who doubles as both a draw engine and a life-drain win condition. The deck's core loop is simple: feed creatures to sacrifice outlets, trigger death payoffs like Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and Marionette Apprentice, and use Sephiroth, Fabled SOLDIER's attack trigger to convert extra bodies into cards. The transformation into Sephiroth, One-Winged Angel is a genuine secondary win condition: his emblem plus a large board of tokens turns every future death into table-wide life drain, and his attack trigger can convert an army of fodder into a massive hand. Recursion via Phyrexian Reclamation, Oversold Cemetery, Macabre Reconstruction, and The Soul Stone keeps the sacrifice train running through wipes.
