Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Mono-Black Turbo Reanimator Combo deck commanded by K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth. The primary game plan focuses on deploying K'rrik on Turns 1–3 by utilizing dense 0–2 CMC fast mana and dark rituals. Once K'rrik is on the battlefield, the deck converts life into mana, enabling explosive turns where tutors like Buried Alive or Entomb deposit Necrotic Ooze, Asmodeus the Archfiend, and Skirge Familiar into the graveyard. Reanimating Necrotic Ooze allows it to draw cards and generate arbitrary black mana by discarding cards, seamlessly drawing the whole library. The deck then closes out the game in the exact same turn with Aetherflux Reservoir laser blasts or Chainer, Dementia Master drain loops. Robust secondary win conditions through Bolas's Citadel or Peer into the Abyss ensure high resilience, while cards like Opposition Agent and Imp's Mischief provide crucial disruption and protection during win attempts.
