Deck overview

Black Waltz No. 3 commands a Rakdos spellslinger deck designed to burn down all three opponents simultaneously. The deck converts every noncreature spell into direct damage through the commander and redundant pingers like Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Coruscation Mage. Acceleration from Storm-Kiln Artist and cheap looting spells allows the deck to chain multiple spells in a single turn. While the deck achieves explosive damage turns amplified by Harmonic Prodigy and Trance Kuja, Fate Defied, its win condition relies on fragile creatures remaining on the battlefield over several turn cycles. It features dense instant-speed creature and artifact removal that doubles as offensive burn triggers, but lacks enchantment removal and comprehensive stack protection. Overall, the deck delivers steady, proactive pressure in casual and focused pods through synergistic spellcasting.
