Deck overview

Grismold, the Dreadsower is both the deck's token engine and its primary win condition: his end-step Plants supply fodder for everyone, and every token death puts a +1/+1 counter on him. The main plan is to pair Grismold with a token-suppression effect such as Illness in the Ranks, Virulent Plague, or Kaervek, so all Plants die in bulk each turn, then attack with a 21+ power Grismold for commander damage. Secondary paths grind life totals with Poison-Tip Archer, Syr Konrad, Mirkwood Bats, and Nadier's Nightblade while token-death draw keeps the engine running. Clackbridge Troll, Hunted Troll, and Sylvan Offering provide burst token donors. The deck has no true hidden commander; Promise of Aclazotz // Foul Rebirth is a sacrifice/populate value card, not the build-around.
