Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Toph, Hardheaded Teacher anchors a Gruul lands-matter deck that leans heavily into landfall triggers and +1/+1 counters while using the commander's earthbend ability to animate lands as surprise combatants. The deck's primary plan is to accelerate land drops, trigger landfall abilities many times per turn, and generate an overwhelming board of tokens (Avenger of Zendikar, Omnath, Locus of Rage, Titania, Protector of Argoth) or huge creatures (Forgotten Ancient, Braulios of Pheres Band). Toph herself provides graveyard recursion for instants and sorceries, allowing reuse of key spells like Beast Within or Harrow. Wins come through colossal combat damage from token swarms, animated lands, or trampling elementals; there is no infinite combo.
