Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Toxrill, the Corrosive leads a Dimir aristocrats/control deck that leverages the commander's -1/-1 engine to wipe boards and generate an army of Slug tokens. The deck ramps heavily to cast Toxrill early, then converts every creature death into life loss via Blood Artist effects and mana via sacrifice outlets. With a mix of draw spells, a single tutor, and seventeen interaction pieces, it grinds out wins through attrition and drain rather than combo. The secondary plan relies on token generators like Black Market Connections to supply sacrifice fodder, while Grave Pact and removal force opponents to lose creatures. The deck is built to use Toxrill's ability every end step, making her the centerpiece of a resilient, value-oriented game plan.
