Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Mardu token strategy led by Isshin, Two Heavens as One. The game plan focuses on deploying efficient creature token producers on early turns and using Isshin's static ability to double their attack triggers. As the creature count multiplies exponentially, the deck pivots into game-ending pressure using global drain engines like Mishra, Claimed by Gix and Commissar Severina Raine, or massive combat buffs via Shared Animosity and Hero of Bladehold. The deck supports its proactive assault with resilient defensive spells such as Clever Concealment and Flare of Fortitude, alongside silence effects like Myrel, Shield of Argive to shut down opposing interaction during combat. While it lacks tutors and fast mana, its high redundancy and overwhelming token volume allow it to close out four-player pods by Turn 6.
