voltron boros by KhaosDrake

Format: Commander

Commander: Bruenor Battlehammer

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bruenor Battlehammer leads a Boros equipment-voltron deck. The primary plan is to suit Bruenor with cheap, high-impact Equipment, use his free first equip each turn, and kill with commander damage; Balan, Wandering Knight acts as a hidden commander who can gather all Equipment and attack with double strike. Secondary paths include extra combat from Raiyuu, Storm's Edge and Waves of Aggression, and a one-shot all-opponents kill with Chandra's Ignition on a 21+ power creature. The deck also runs a small stax package (Rule of Law, Archon of Emeria) and many protection spells to keep its single threat alive. It is not a strict all-in commander deck: other equipment-matters creatures can carry the plan if Bruenor is answered.
