Olag and Miau, New Friends by brycegreenwood

Format: Commander

Commander: Olag and Miau, New Friends

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is an Abzan Cats-and-Zombies tribal tokens deck helmed by Olag and Miau, New Friends. The plan is to flood the board with Cats and Zombies, pump them via the commander's enter triggers and counter enablers, then convert the wide board into life loss. Primary wins come from end-step drains-Olag and Miau, New Friends and Throne of the God-Pharaoh taxing tapped bodies-amplified by Wound Reflection, ETB pings from Corpse Knight, and combat. Token doublers (Anointed Procession, Doubling Season, Elspeth, Storm Slayer) and engines like Endless Ranks of the Dead, Ocelot Pride, and Field of the Dead snowball the board. A compact sacrifice loop package (Gravecrawler, Phyrexian Altar, drain outlets) provides combo finishes. The commander is a strong payoff and counter engine but is not required for the loops or the token-drain plan.
