Deck overview

This is a Mardu Vampire tribal deck helmed by Edgar Markov, whose Eminence ability generates a 1/1 Vampire token for every Vampire spell you cast - from the command zone, so the engine runs at full capacity without ever casting him. The plan is to flood the board with Vampires, pump them through a dense lord package (Legion Lieutenant, Stromkirk Captain, Markov Baron, Bloodline Keeper, Shared Animosity), and drain the table through Blood Artist, Sanctum Seeker, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, and Vein Ripper. Primary wins are wide combat plus drain, or the infinite Bloodthirsty Conqueror + Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose lifegain loop, with an Oathsworn Vampire + Phyrexian Altar + Blood Artist backup loop. It is a midrange tribal value deck with deep card draw and a commander that cannot be meaningfully hated off the table.
