Deck overview

This is a hyper-focused mono-black Rat swarm deck helmed by Marrow-Gnawer. The entire 99 is built around 65 copies of Rat Colony supported by 33 Swamps and a single copy of Thrumming Stone. The plan is pure go-wide combat: flood the board with Rats that pump each other, use Marrow-Gnawer to grant the team fear and to convert Rats into exponential token swarms, and resolve Thrumming Stone so that casting one Rat Colony ripples into a critical mass of free copies. There are no infinite combos, no alternative win conditions, and virtually no supporting engine pieces-just raw tribal density and one ripple enabler. The deck wins by attacking with an overwhelming board of scaled, evasive Rats.
